When it comes to super yachts, the 126 metre Octopus would have to be up there with the best of them.  Designed and built by German shipbuilders and naval architects Lurssen Yachts and Espen Oeino in 2003, Octopus has eight Mercedes engines, a steel hull and superstructure that is predominantly aluminium, decks mainly done with teak,  a 21 metre beam and a draught of 5.85 metres.  Sam Sorgiovanni was instrumental in designing and fitting out much of the interior along with Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd.

When it comes to luxurious superyachts not many outclass the motor yacht Anastasia. Built in 2008 by Oceanco, a Dutch shipyard she was designed inside and out by Australia’s world-renowned Sam Sorgiovanni. At 75.5 metres long, the Anastasia may not be the longest in her class but the 12 guests she can accommodate will have a great deal of fun with the many water toys provided. And their every need can be met by the 20 crew who are ready and waiting to see to their comfort, as well as attend to the yacht.
